Internship: Robotics and Coding for Middle School and High School students

This position is a part-time job on Saturdays during the school year to teach students about coding, robotics, and learn more about the impacts of climate change.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Guide students in building robots, AI, cybersecurity, coding, and other advanced topics. 
  • Manage class resources and material.
  • Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
  • Ensure students' safety during class projects.
  • Attend program orientation meetings, staff meetings, and training sessions.
  • Record student attendance.
  • Report to the Instructor and Program Director.
  • Ensure the students gain competency in advanced computer topics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be able to commute to Mount Vernon, NY.
  • Have experience and knowledge in coding and robotics; teaching experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to interact well with teens.
  • Someone who wants to make a lasting impact.
